So, my cat has a stalker. Sure, it’s an inanimate tin crow, but that doesn’t matter. This thing has eyes on Cliff Tarpey, all the time. You would think that would make Cliff uncomfortable, or at the least, self-conscious. But he must either not notice, not care or he must be into it. I’m kind of leaning toward the latter.
We all know Percy and Cliff Tarpey are very enamored with birds. They could sit and watch them, pretty much, endlessly. So, I thought they’d really like having this tin crow around. The weird thing is, they just seemed to ignore it.
Until I thought I maybe, possibly, somehow noticed that Cliff Tarpey was actively ignoring the tin crow, maybe like, suspiciously so. Maybe I’m attributing a cunning unrealistic for a cat, but Cliff Tarpey is pretty smart. It looks like he might be playing hard-to-get with the tin crow.
My cat has a stalker, but he wouldn’t if he didn’t low-key encourage it. Cliff Tarpey knows the tin crow is on the table. He’s careful enough to not knock it off, that’s for sure. He also makes the choice to sit and lay right next to his crow stalker, while still pretending not to see him/it/whatever.
I’m not saying Cliff Tarpey is “asking for it” and this tin crow is stalking my cat maliciously. No way. My cat has a stalker and I think he thinks it’s actually a member of his fanclub (which he assumes he has, of coarse).
