We’re always looking out for amazing coffee shops, everywhere we go, forever craving the perfect cup. And we have visited some fresh, indie coffee shops all over Southern California. The most surprising gem might be Patch Coffee, hidden in the hills of Lake Forest, California.
This delightfully cool and conscientious cafe became one of our favorite spots the instant we crossed through their doors. Patch Coffee is Instagram-ready : every freaking inch. It was hard to resist the urhe to turn our trip into an hours-long photo shoot– they even put out props! But, that phrase, “as beautiful on the inside, as the outside”, that applies to Patch Coffee. They have a really lovely philosophy and creative drink menu to match the gorgeous ascetic.
Championing community, authenticity and a greater good, Patch Coffee supports individual artists and small companies. They not only sell handmade goods, but they display artwork, books, games and general inspiration. They should list “creativity” as their secret ingredient.
Not to mention the ethical standards they have regarding their menu. You can order simple coffee or a macadamia nut latte and enjoy it all the more knowing Patch Coffee is worrying about the quality and global effects of your drink, so that you don’t have to.
Patch Coffee has live music, events, but it’s also a great place to meet up with friends or study. Next time your in Lake Forest, you’ve got to check out Patch Coffee. If you can’t visit in person, check out their website and follow them on Instagram. Enjoy this photo gallery from our trip and come back for our next coffee shop find!
